About
AfriqInnov8 was established in 2020 by Trod Lehong and Jabulani Mthombeni as a strategic consulting company that supports entrepreneurs, businesses, governments, inter-government organisations, policymakers and the general public to use the Intellectual Property (IP) system and enabling trade policies to stimulate innovation and encourage technology transfer, adoption and economic development.
We recognise the importance of data as a form of IP or intangible asset, particularly as it relates to 4IR, Internet of Things, 3D printing, social media, etc. Accordingly, we provide strategic advice in data protection and privacy as well as cyber law.
Our consultancy service reflects our collective experience working in corporate, legal services, government and international organisations, as well as supporting and growling small businesses to offer holistic, value-added services.
We offer a range of flexible and customised services as well as flexible billing options including flat fees, hourly fees, monthly retainers and equity as compensation. We incorporate the latest technology in our service offering to ensure that we reduce the cost of services, increase efficiency, and make our services readily accessible.
Outreach and Capacity Building
We recognise that as a continent, Africa lacks the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies to make use of the IP system, trade policies, data protection and cyberlaw. Accordingly, also specialise in awareness-raising, training and capacity building.
We pride ourselves on being tech-savvy, and we rely on the use of technology to make our services more accessible and affordable. We have designed our interactive solutions with you in mind and customised them to provide helpful information and services.
So chose us to help you grow your business, mitigate your business risks, and support your capacity building requirements.
